About:
Fridley Recreation is hosting an ‘Ice Skate Drive’ starting on October 19th. Our plan is to collect used skates from the public.
We want to help bridge the gap in access to winter recreation activities in Fridley’s community. By having equipment, we can offer the skates to our community members at Commons’ warming house for free winter skating. This program will provide accessibility to those in need, that are present in our community.

How to Help:
Ice skating is a fun activity to enjoy outdoors in the winter and we would like to provide this opportunity to everyone in our community. You can support the Ice Skate Drive by…
- Donating skates
- Spreading the word about this drive
- Print and hang up the flyer at your work place (pdf at the bottom of the page) or
- Sponsoring ice skate purchases with a monetary donation (contact Matthew Mraz)
Fridley Recreation, as well as the community, would be thankful for any assistance!
