Are you looking for some Senior services? We offer several services at the Fridley Community Center during the day. Our facility is completely handicap accessible.

Legal Aid for Seniors

First Tuesday of the Month      9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
Legal Services for Senior Citizens of Anoka County will continue its monthly outreach service at the Fridley Community Center on the first Tuesday of each month. Areas of assistance include nursing home issues, housing issues, health insurance, public benefits (Social Security, Medicare and Medical Assistance, Subsidized Housing), debt collection, repossession, conservatorship/guardianship, landlord/tenant rights, and conciliation court cases. There is no charge to the participants for this service. Please call 763-502-5150 for an appointment.

Fridley Senior Dining

Hot meals are served Monday - Friday at 12 noon at the Fridley Community Center. A donation of $4.00 is requested for all seniors. Those under the age of 60 will be charged $7.00. Menus are published monthly in the Fridley Senior Newsletter. Reservations can be made by calling 763-502-5199 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. (3 days in advance).

Health Insurance Counseling

1st and 3rd Thursdays each month     
If you are looking for information regarding Medicare, supplemental health insurance, Medical Assistance or other health insurance related topics, call 763-502-5150 to schedule a 1 hour appointment to meet with a health insurance counselor. Counselors are from the State Health Insurance Assistance Program of Anoka County and provide free information and answers to your questions. Appointments are available on the first Thursday of each month from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., and third Thursday of each month from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., by calling 763-502-5150.
